Sunday School inspired by Godly Play
Each Sunday during the second half of worship, the children meet with their Sunday School teacher to ask questions of faith through Bible stories.  The time is filled with crafts, laughter, hands on prayer practices, and learning.  The class is geared toward elementary school students, but those older join in the fun as well at times. This year, the Sunday School Curriculum will be based on "Godly Play" developed by Jerome W. Berryman, an interpretation of Montessori religious education.  It is an approach that supports, challenges, nourishes, and guides children's spiritual quest. 

Younger children (infants to preschool) are invited to be cared for by our staff in our childcare room or to worship with their parents.  Many times, families will bring a blanket and some toys in order to relax and have room for the toddlers to move at the back of the Sanctuary.  This congregation rejoices in the voices and noises of young ones among us.  You will find a supportive community for your family here.
